Ko Tao (literally Turtle Island) is a small island in Thailand located on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Thailand. Ko Tao is less developed than its larger neighbours, Ko Samui and Ko Pha Ngan, and is reachable only by boat. The island is a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkelling.
